So far this year, we have been reading 'The Firework Maker's Daughter' by Philip Pullman. We are loving the twists and turns in the story. We are linking ideas in the story to other parts of the curriculum. Our plans and designs for carts and trolleys to transport fireworks are coming along very well.
Our topic this term is 'Sparkle and Shine'. We will be learning about the scientific aspects of light and sound. This will include the key skills of prediction, investigation and drawing conclusions.
Jade class certainly has an exciting year ahead of them!
