Jade class have made a fabulous start to the New Year and we have already been learning lots. We are trying hard to recognise that the ‘Learning Pit’ is a good place to be as we are about to learn something new and challenge ourselves.
Our topic this term is 'The Natural World' where we are finding out about natural features and areas around the world and comparing them to those we have locally. We are studying states of matter in science and have already had fun trying to classify shaving foam! Later on in the term, we shall be looking in to the wonderful water cycle.
Jade class now has PE on a Tuesday. Whilst the swimmers practise on Friday, the rest of us have an extra burst of PE.
We are all trying our hardest to improve on our behaviour and attitude towards learning so that Miss Finch finds it even harder to choose who to give the TOPs badge to.
In Jade Class, we accept and appreciate that everyone learns differently. We use a range of resources, share contrasting opinions and all have different skills. Our class is like a family so, we always try to be kind and caring towards each other.
We try to have a positive mindset because if we find something tricky it means that we are about to learn something new. Sometimes we just can't do it yet. We have fun when we are learning with Miss Finch and our TA'S - Mrs Russell and Mrs Pateman.
Determined to try our best
Eager to learn new things
