October 2016 Update
We are a lively class of Year 4 children who are keen to learn and do our best every day. We have a class mascot, who is a dragon called Sparky. He lives in one of the fireplaces in our classroom. Our classroom is bright and welcoming, with a reading area that we love to spend time in. We made cushions in the first week of the Autumn term to make spending time in there more comfortable. We have a Book Monster who lives in the book shelves, we let him share our books.
Our class teacher is Mrs Peacock and our teaching assistant is Mrs Martin. We play lots of games in our lessons to help us become secure in our knowledge, practise skills and gain new abilities. We can be quite competitive!
We have PE twice a week. In the Autumn term these are swimming lessons at Riverside swimming pool and doing Invasion games at school every Monday.
We like to do well in our spelling tests, which are every Friday morning. Because we love reading too, we bring our books to school every day just in case there is the chance to read more of our school reading book.
We are a kind, creative and helpful class who love learning about new things. Some children love art lessons the most, some really enjoy science and more love our English lessons. Whatever lesson we do we enjoy practical activities and particularly enjoy singing to help us learn.
We are proud of our learning and keen to share our successes with any visitors.
